He is promised an ally against his wife Indu, whom he regards with varying degrees of irritation, when his mother comes to visit. I have known about the celebrated Omar Khayyam’s poetry for quite a while but had never had a chance to learn about his life in detail. As well as philosophy, he was well versed in mathematics, astronomy, alchemy, medicine, architecture, samxrkand the major scientific disciplines of his time.
